will I see sea life?

So here’s a common question I want to talk about.  Will I see sea life? While I won’t say no, I also can’t give you a guaranteed yes.  Sometimes we see the occasional dolphin and or turtle.  Once we saw and alligator! But no this is not something I can promise.  However I can promise you that if our captain does spot some cool sea life he will most certainly point it out for you!!

How much time will you need? What happens? What’s it about? What do we get? Let me give you the time line low down! What’s the difference?

So on occasion, I get the question, “why should we choose your pirate ship?” Well I have a real simple solution to that question because we ARRRRGGGG AWESOME.  Seriously! Okay for real though we are a real pirate ship and we find real sunken treasure! Which is pretty cool in itself.  What makes us really special is that our trip is hands on and all of the children get to be a part of the crew! Whether it’s Jolly, Dagger, or Gypsea all of the children get a turn and a great individual experience! Come out and hang out with our awesome crew!   #myrtlebeach #myrtlebeachfamilyactivies #myrtlebeachkids #myrtlebeachchildren #northmyrtlebeach #northmyrtlebeachkids #northmyrtlebeachchildren #gardencity #Surfsidebeachchildren #Marshwalkpirates #marshwalkpirateship #litchfieldbeachkids

Weather

Weather, weather, weather… Now that’s always a big concern when yarrgg booking reservations in advance. No reason to worry though we keep a close eye eye on the weather (get it? Bad pirate joke, I know). So here’s the deal if it does rain what we do is go on a 15-30 minute rain delay,…

Pirate History

Pirating dates back to the early 1500’s and ended in the 1830’s, however they were the most successful from the 1660’s to the 1730’s. With the exception of the Somali pirates that ar4e still around until this day! I’m sure you have heard of Captain Black Beard, who is easily the most famous pirate to…

Autism Friendly

So I want to talk about something that I get a lot of phone calls about. I get a lot of phone calls about different questions and concerns but one that I would like to specifically address is Autism. While I know a good bit about autism I have personally never had or watched a child with autism. So I have been getting a lot of calls and emails asking if we are Autism friendly. The answer to that question is yes, for the most part. There are a few loud noises (examples firing up the cannons, the generator is loud, and then the pirates and other children yelling arrggg and aye aye) those are the only two things that I have noticed being a little bothersome during our trip. Aside from that our staff is incredible with all the…

Talk Like A Pirate

Let’s talk like a pirate! Don’t know how too?? Guess what! I’ll teach you! We also have an awesome reference guide on our website. Lets start with how a pirate says yes? I’ll give you a hint, you have two of them on your face… What are they called? EYES… Now drop the “S” and…

reduce, re-use, recycle

Hey again… While this isn’t pirate ship related it is about our ocean and waterways. Since we’re on it everyday, I think this is ever so important. Lets talk about trash in the ocean. I know y’all have seen the horrific pictures of the turtles with their heads stuck in a 6-pack holder, a seal…
